“Sokóle” Nature Reserve

A forest reserve covering the area of 44.17 hectares, whose purpose is to preserve in the natural condition and protect near natural forest communities of tall mixed deciduous forest, typical for the Drohiczyn Upland. In the territory of the reserve there is one of the oldest natural monuments in the area - a 350-year-old sessile oak, commonly known as the “father of oak trees”.
