Wooden Chapel of Visitation of Holy Virgin Mary in Pokaniewo-Kolonia

A wooden Chapel of Visitation of Holy Virgin Mary was constructed between 1984-1985 thanks to the efforts of Father Antoni Zajączkowski (1944-1990), the then parish priest (1984-1987), in accordance with the design by engineer Stanisław Szymański from Grańsk, It was consecrated on 22 November 1986 by Bishop Władysław Jędruszuk, apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Pinsk.
